Wax melts are scented pieces of wax that release fragrance when heated. Unlike candles, they don’t have a wick and don’t evaporate; instead, you place them in a warmer to gently melt the wax and fill your room with aroma. Unlike traditional candles, the wax in a melt never disappears. Since there is no flame touching the wax, it doesn't burn up. Instead, the heat gently draws the fragrance oils out into the air. Once the scent eventually fades (usually after 8–12 hours), you simply remove the "spent" wax disc and replace it with a fresh one.

Electric Wax Warmers

These use a heating plate or a light bulb to melt the wax without a flame. Electric warmers use gentle, consistent heat and usually make melts last longer. These are best for homes with children or pets, or for those who want a long-lasting, steady fragrance, as they are safer because there is no open flame.

Tealight burners

Tealight burners use the heat from a single tealight candle. These are traditional ceramic or glass burners that reach higher temperatures, which creates a stronger scent (throw) but causes the fragrance to dissipate faster. They are usually cheaper than electric options and reach higher temperatures for a stronger scent throw. If you use this method, always use unscented 2–4 hour tealights. Ensure there is at least 10cm between the flame and the wax dish to prevent overheating.

Lasting Luxury for Your Home

Our melts are crafted for both strength and stamina. Depending on the room size and airflow, a single segment from each snap bar can fill your space with fragrance for 8-10 hours. Once you no longer notice the scent, safely remove the cooled wax and pop in a fresh piece to reset your home’s ambience. Each snap bar is made to last approximately 40-50 hours.

One segment of a snap bar at a time is usually sufficient for snap bars divided into 5 segments; two pieces if the snap bar has 10 segments. Never fill your burner dish more than halfway. Overfilling can lead to hot wax spilling over the sides, creating a mess or a safety hazard. Remeber your room size matters: for smaller rooms like bathrooms, one small piece is plenty. For larger, open-plan living areas, you might want to add a second piece if you can to increase the scent throw. Always check the size of your specific wax warmer’s dish before adding wax, as some decorative burners have smaller capacities than standard ones.

We do not recommend mixing different scented wax melts. Each of our fragrances is professionally CLP-compliant (Classification, Labelling, and Packaging) as a standalone product. Mixing two different scents creates a new chemical combination that has not been safety-tested or documented on our packaging. We believe in fragrance without compromise. We use CocoPro wax which is a 100% plant-based blend of coconut and rapeseed, consciously formulated to be free from palm, soy, and paraffin. By choosing non-GM, additive-free ingredients, we ensure a clean, vegan-friendly burn that’s as kind to your home as it is to the planet.

Cleaning is easy! You can either wait for the wax to cool and gently pop out the solid disc, or while the wax is still liquid, carefully soak it up using a few cotton balls or a paper towel. Once clear, simply wipe the dish clean with a soft cloth. Pro tip: For the easiest clean-up ever, try using a reusable wax melt liner. Simply place the liner in your burner dish and add your wax melt inside. When you're ready for a new scent, let the wax harden and pop the solid disc straight out. No scraping, no soaking, and your burner stays like new!

While we cannot definitively guarantee that all wax melts are suitable for every pet, they are generally considered safe for use in homes with animals when used responsibly. We recommend using our melts in well-ventilated areas to keep your pets comfortable. Just like humans, individual animals can have unique sensitivities, so we cannot guarantee a specific reaction for every pet.
